Do you know what types of FCC certification are divided into:
① Self-verification
Manufacturers or importers ensure that their products have passed the necessary tests to confirm that the products meet the relevant technical standards and retain test reports. FCC reserves the right to require manufacturers to submit equipment samples or product test data. Devices suitable for self-verification include commercial computers, televisions and FM receivers, as well as FCC Rule Part 18 industrial, scientific and medical equipment used by non-mass consumers.
3C certification, FCC certification
② Declaration of conformity
The responsible party of the equipment (usually the manufacturer or importer) conducts product testing at the qualified testing agency designated by the FCC to ensure that the equipment meets the requirements. It has the relevant technical standards and reserves the right to test reports. The FCC has the right to require the responsible party to submit equipment samples or Product test data. The equipment applicable to the declaration of conformity includes home computers and peripherals, civil broadcast receivers, super-regenerative receivers, other receivers under Part 15 of the FCC rules, TV interface equipment, cable system terminal equipment, and part 18 "Science" For industrial research and medical equipment used by mass consumers, the responsible party should mark the following on the equipment.
③ID authentication
The FCC examines the samples (or photos) and test data submitted by the applicant, and if it meets the requirements of the FCC rules, it will authorize the FCC's FCCID number equipment. Applicable certified devices include low-power transmitters, such as cordless phones, automatic door remote controls, radio-controlled toys and security alarm systems, Part 15 devices that intentionally emit radio frequency energy, and Part 18 of automatic industrial, scientific and medical equipment. For frequency receivers and super-regenerative receivers, television interface equipment, and home computers and their peripherals, the responsible party should mark the FCC ID mark on the equipment.
