Introduction to certification
Bluetooth authentication is also called BQB certification. In short, if your product has Bluetooth function and the Bluetooth logo is marked on the product appearance, it must pass BQB certification. Bluetooth authentication is the certification procedure that any product using Bluetooth wireless technology must go through. Bluetooth wireless technology defined in Bluetooth system specification allows short distance wireless data connection between devices.
If the product has Bluetooth function and the Bluetooth logo is marked on the product appearance, it must pass the certification of Bluetooth BQB (Bluetooth qualification body).
Standard reference Bluetooth certification program reference document is the standard reference for product certification process. Members of Bluetooth special interest organization have the right to use Bluetooth wireless technology in the product list of Bluetooth certified products list (QPL) for free. Bluetooth SIG members are free. Bluetooth QPL lists all licensed Bluetooth products, subsystems, components and development tools. The products listed in QPL are specially authorized by Bluetooth certification bodies (bqbs) around the world. Any BQB can evaluate, certify, and list any product certified. Joining BQB early can minimize the time and cost of product development. organization Bluetooth product certification policy, the document in PRD, is formulated by the Bluetooth Certification Evaluation Committee (bqrb), which is elected by representatives of nine Bluetooth SIG sponsors. The authentication process is the responsibility of the Bluetooth authentication administrator (bqa), who represents the interests of bqrb. Bqrb recognizes individual Bluetooth certification bodies (bqbs) and empowers them to certify and list products. Bqrb also recognizes qualified Bluetooth certification test equipment (bqtfs) as effective execution and reporting of class a test results (see certification process description for more details). Bqrb also recognizes Bluetooth technology assessors to evaluate and recommend bqtf candidates.

Bluetooth BQB certification cycle and sample requirements
1) Certification period: 1-2 weeks;
2) Sample quantity: 2 finished products and 2 engineering prototypes (entering BQB test mode).
Bluetooth BQB Certification Group
Bluetooth community Bluetooth Certification Group (BQB) is authorized by bqrb to provide services for members who need to obtain Bluetooth product certification. Members obtain certification services directly through BQB. BQB is responsible for checking statements and documents that do not conform to the specifications, evaluating product test reports, and listing products in the official database of Bluetooth authorized products. BQB must be a member of Bluetooth SIG or employee of Bluetooth SIG. BQB is an independent individual and does not need to be attached to the testing agency and manufacturer.

Testing organization
Bluetooth certification and testing organization (bqtf) is officially approved by bqrb and can complete the conformance test and identification of "a" Bluetooth certification in tcrl. The authoritative description of the bqtf role is in section 4.3.3 of the Bluetooth authentication program reference document (PRD). Members can use bqtf directly for testing services. In general, bqtf can also provide additional Bluetooth testing services. Scope of competence 1. RF conformance testing, including RF, baseband and physical test specifications. 2. Protocol and profile conformance testing, including baseband, link management, L2CAP and profile conformance testing specifications. Qualification Authorization The task of Bluetooth technology evaluator (BTA) is to evaluate the technical capabilities of the testing institutions appointed for Bluetooth conformance testing and later authorized by Bluetooth SIG as a Bluetooth certification test equipment (bqtf) on behalf of the Bluetooth Certification Evaluation Committee (bqrb).
