Introduction to ROHS certification
The full name of RoHS directive is The Restriction of the use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment） In 2002, the European Union first proposed the RoHS concept - the directive on the restriction of the use of hazardous substances in electronic and electrical products (EEE).
Directive 2002 / 95 / EC or RoHS: the European Union of 21 July 2011 restricts the use of lead (PB), mercury (Hg), cadmium (CD), chromium (Cr6 +), polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) in the production of certain electrical and electronic equipment sold in the European Union.
Directive 2011 / 65 / EU or RoHS 2: EU restrictions on lead (PB), mercury (Hg), cadmium (CD), chromium (CR VI), polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE), di (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), toluene butyl phthalate (BBP), dibutyl phthalate (DBP), diisobutyl phthalate (DiBP) are restricted by EU directive 2011 / 65 / EU or RoHS 2:2 January 2013 O-phenyl4p for short.

Application process

Application materials
1. Only heavy metal detection: about 5-10g for solid and 5-10ml for liquid; 2. Only brominated flame retardants should be detected: about 10-20g of solid and 10-20ml of liquid should be provided; 3. Detection of heavy metal organic pollutants: provide about 20-30g samples; 4. Detection of other organic pollutants: provide about 30g sample; 5. Only the sample of coating (coating) should be detected, and the approximate weight of material part of coating (coating) should be indicated; If the weight of plating (coating) parts can not meet the requirements of sample delivery, coating (coating) raw materials shall be provided.

How long is the RoHS report valid? ROHS certification does not have a mandatory period of validity. If the official ROHS certification test standard is not revised, the original RoHS certificate can be valid for a long time.
