Introduction to certification
Nbtc in Thailand is the abbreviation of "National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Bureau Committee". It is a typical government administration department with the power of administrative punishment. Similar to the Ministry of industry and information technology of China, nbtc is also the competent authority of telecommunication products and telecommunication networks. From July 1, 2008, the existing mandatory specifications for mobile communication products will be extended to wireless related products for telecommunication equipment and telecommunication terminal equipment. Generally speaking, mobile phones and other wireless products exported to Thailand need nbtc certification before they can be sold in the local market.

Classification of nbtc certified products in Thailand
Telecommunications equipment sold in Thailand are subject to NTC control and are divided into three groups:
Class A: Registration
Class B: Approval Certification
SDoC: Supplier’s Declaration of Conformity
Class a approval: the product must be tested in the laboratory designated by NTC and provided with the data required by NTC to obtain the login number and certification certificate.
Class B approval certification procedure is the same as class a product category. Only foreign reports such as FCC, CE, CB... Can be used to apply for certificate transfer mode, and the login number and certification certificate must be obtained.
SDoC compliance declaration mode (supplier ΄ S declaration of conformity (SDoC)) this part of product certification is voluntary mode, which must be completed by the customer's local representative in Thailand, and then sent to NTC together with technical documents for reference.
Thailand nbtc certification label
Nbtc has no specified label requirements.
The new draft of product certification label introduces nbtc's e-labeling, and proposes to change the nbtc label from free to charge. (all labels must be purchased from nbtc and cannot be self printed. The cost of each label is THB 1 yuan.)

Application process

Notes for certification of nbtc directive in Thailand:
1. Normal voltage standard: 220 V, 50 Hz / 60 Hz; If it is a plug adapter, it shall comply with IEC60065 standard or iec60950 standard or new standard iec62368, and the plug adapter shall be a European plug with 220 v-240 V, 50 Hz / 60 Hz; If it is a table lamp, the rated voltage must be 220 v;
