Wi Fi certified is an internationally recognized product certification standard, which means that the product has reached the industry recognized standards in terms of interoperability, security and a series of application specific protocols. Wi Fi certified products have been rigorously tested in one of our independent authorized testing laboratories. When a product passes the test successfully, the manufacturer or distributor is authorized to use the Wi Fi certified logo. Certification means that a product has been tested in various configurations of other devices, and the equipment used for testing needs to be extracted in different ways to verify the interoperability between the product and other Wi Fi certified devices working in the same frequency band.

A wide range of consumer, business and operator specific products, including smartphones, home appliances, computers and peripherals, network infrastructure and consumer electronics, can be certified. At the retail end, the Wi Fi certified logo gives consumers confidence in the product, ensuring that the product provides a good user experience and meets industry standards. Service providers and enterprise IT managers point out that products must have Wi Fi certified to reduce support costs and ensure that products meet the requirements of the industry. Only a member of the Wi Fi alliance can conduct product certification tests and use the Wi Fi certified logo and related trademarks.

Joining the Wi Fi alliance is a key strategic element in providing Wi Fi solutions and services. In our industry-leading Cooperation Forum, a number of future oriented Wi Fi and wigig technologies are developing significantly. Our world-class certification program validates the best user experience and has the right to stamp approval seals that are sought after around the world. Since March 2000, members of the Wi Fi alliance have developed and launched more than 15 certification programs.
So far, more than 600 of our member companies have certified more than 15000 products through our 18 authorized testing laboratories around the world, and the number is growing. Being part of our alliance and participating in our interoperability programs and marketing efforts means that you and your customers will have the best experience using Wi Fi products and services.
Join members today, let's jointly promote the future development of wireless. After your application is accepted by our board of directors, Wi Fi alliance staff will send you the relevant notice and invoice by email within 10 working days. Your membership will be activated when the Wi Fi alliance receives full payment. For existing members, we will collect the membership fee for the next calendar year every year, and all payments due must be made before December 31.
Full membership
Full members can help develop our certification program and related supporting technologies, certify products, and have the right to acquire a range of other rights and interests. The annual fee for full membership is $15000.
Affiliate membership
Subsidiaries of full members and sponsor level members are eligible for a range of membership benefits at no additional cost. Affiliate members have the same rights as full members, including the ability to use their own company name to authenticate products, but the voting rights are still held by companies with full Wi Fi alliance membership or sponsorship level membership.
For a company that is eligible to become an affiliated member, the full member or sponsor level member enterprise must directly or indirectly (1) control the subsidiary; (2) Controlled by the subsidiary; Or (3) under the control of other enterprises together with the subsidiary (the same non member enterprise must control both the member enterprise and the subsidiary company).
Implementer member
Implementer members can use the previously certified Wi Fi products to authenticate their own terminal products. Implementer members use the Wi Fi certified brand to provide users with a simple path, insurance interoperability and proven superior user experience. The additional benefits also include participation in three annual membership meetings and the right to use programming maps and tested technical parameters. The annual fee for implementer members is $5000.

1. Brand new product certification: Wi Fi certification has no inheritance.
2. Re certification: the product has been certified; Wi Fi related parts of the product have changed.
3. Modification: the product has been certified; Wi Fi related parts of the product will not change.
