What is ERP?

ErP  =  Energy-related   Energy related products. It refers to any product that has been put on the market or has been delivered for use and will have an impact on energy consumption in the course of its use. It includes those components of energy related products covered by the ERP directive, which are put into the market and / or delivered for use by end users as independent components, and they should be able to conduct environmental impact assessment independently.

How to use ERP logo

The ERP directive belongs to the requirements of CE mark. If the products put into the European market fall within the scope of CE, they should carry the CE mark. In addition, some authoritative foreign certification bodies can provide ERP logo for market promotion.

Is energy star approval a sign of compliance with ERP requirements?  

no Energy star is a certification mark of the United States and therefore cannot be used as proof of compliance with EU directives. At present, the only sign that can be used as a proof of compliance is the European Ecolabel.  

How to do ERP authentication effectively

According to ERP   The internal design control procedure in Appendix IV of directive 2005 / 32 / EC is used to evaluate the conformity of products.  

The simplest and most effective method for compliance assessment is to refer to Annex IV of the EUP act, namely:  

1. Provide LCA (life cycle assessment) environmental footprint report of products  

2. Provide the test report required in the implementation rules of ecological design  

3. Provide relevant information as required
