Introduction to safety mark certification in Singapore:
The standard productivity and Reform Commission of Singapore (hereinafter referred to as Spring Singapore) is a product safety agency established by the Ministry of trade and industry of Singapore. It is responsible for the registration scheme of consumer protection (product safety requirements) (CPS). Since April 1, 2002, the new regulations require that the conformity of product safety should be based on the test and evaluation of the third party certification authority. Singapore local conformity assessment bodies (CAB) or overseas organization cab (foreign-mra) approved by spring issue COC Certificate (certificate of conformity), which is valid for three years. Certificate holder is a local company in Singapore, no factory inspection and annual fee. There is no "series" application for product certification (each certificate can only cover a single model).
Applicable product range:
Household electronic and electrical equipment, lamps and lighting equipment and other 45 categories of products belong to control category compulsory certification products.
Authentication mode:
CB test report + PSB registration certificate.
Certification process:
1. Submit sample data
2. Testing by a third party approved laboratory
3. Cab organization test report
4. Registration
5. PSB certification
Application information required:
CB certificate and test report valid for three years (English version), information of local representative in Singapore, letter of authorization for Singapore safety regulation application (letter paper of local representative company in Singapore), if CB certificate holder is different from local representative company in Singapore, CB certificate holder shall present authorization letter, complete circuit / circuit diagram (including rated value) and parts list (preferably A3 size), English operation manual Color appearance and internal photos, if the product has plug, test and certification report conforming to ss246 shall be submitted.
