Battery RoHS

RoHS is a compulsory standard formulated by EU legislation. Its full name is "restriction of hazardous substances" which is mainly used to regulate the material and process standards of electronic and electrical products, so as to make it more conducive to human health and environmental protection. Battery products entering Europe need ROHS certification.

Lead (PB): ≤ 0.1%;
Mercury (Hg): ≤ 0.1%;
Cadmium (CD): ≤ 0.01%;
Hexavalent chromium (CR VI): ≤ 0.1%;
Polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs): ≤ 0.1%;
Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs): ≤ 0.1%;
DEHP: ≤ 0.1%;
Toluene butyl phthalate (BBP): ≤ 0.1%;
Dibutyl phthalate (DBP): ≤ 0.1%;
Diisobutyl phthalate (DiBP): ≤ 0.1%

Battery RoHS detection method

1. Chemical detection;

Chemical detection according to each homogeneous sampling, pretreatment, digestion, testing, data accuracy

2. Total Pb, CD, Hg, Cr, BR were scanned by XRF;

XRF scanning is the abstract definition of sample material by XRF scanner, which can judge whether there are five elements. If the sample composition is uneven, it will be invalid;

3. Chemical detection + XRF scanning;

For RoHS detection of customer finished products, multiple homogeneous tests are split. In order to save costs, XRF scanning is used to determine whether there are elements, and then test according to the chemical detection process.
4. RoHS report integration;
When customers can provide RoHS report for each homogeneous material in finished product, it can be integrated into RoHS report of finished product; 5. RoHS certificate;
Each homogeneous material of the product meets the ROHS standard, and RoHS certificate can be issued.
6.ROHS logo
RoHS compliance of electronic and electrical equipment is included in CE marking requirements.
