European ERP Directive 2009/125/EC

1) Non-directional lights: (EC) No 244/2009, (EC) No 859/2009

Applicable to: the light source whose luminous flux in the solid angle of 120 degrees is less than 80% of the total luminous flux.

Covered products include: non-directional LED light sources, incandescent lamps, tungsten halogen lamps, self-ballasted fluorescent lamps.

2) Fluorescent lamps and HID lamps, ballasts and lamps containing such light sources and ballasts: (EC) No 245/2009, (EU) No 347/2010

Applicable to: fluorescent tubes without integrated ballasts, HID bulbs, fluorescent lamp ballasts, HID lamp ballasts and fluorescent lamps and HID lamps.

3) Directional lights: 1194/2012/EU

Applicable to: (a) Directional light source; (b) LED light source; (c) Equipment installed between mains and light source, including light source controller, control device and lamps

(Excluding: ballasts, fluorescent lamps and HID lamps); Products that use the above items (a)-(c) in other products.
