Basic introduction
Since January 1, 2011, energy star has imposed a third-party verification system. Products must be approved by the third-party laboratories and certification bodies recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) before being authorized to affix the energy star logo. Universal unity testing is an optical laboratory authorized by nvlap and approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). It is the first non-U.S. laboratory certified by energy star in the world. Universal unity detection provides comprehensive energy star solutions for LED and CFLs lighting products.
