NTRA certification of mobile phone in Egypt (National Telecommunication Authority of Egypt). According to the relevant regulations issued by NTRA in Egypt, all communication equipment used in Egypt, including terminal equipment and radio communication equipment, shall obtain NTRA type certification.

Basic requirements of NTRA certification

1. To apply for equipment, you must obtain CE or FCC certification ；

2. The manufacturer applying for the equipment must obtain ISO9001 certification;

3. The equipment exported to Egypt must be consistent with the equipment listed in the NTRA certificate application.

Main contents of NTRA certification

1. Verification of application for equipment certification:

The applicant shall submit the CE or FCC certificate and the test report of the equipment listed in the certificate; Equipment description and parameters; Name of manufacturer and relevant standards.  

2. Factory review:

Factory audit is a part of the test verification process, which means that the laboratory should check the relevant certificates and documents provided by the manufacturer when applying for test certification, as well as the production site of the equipment applied. The certificate must conform to the scope of production and business of the manufacturer recognized by ISO.   The laboratory shall review the quality aspects of the manufacturer's product consistency and quality testing ability.

1. 2 "NTRA certificate" of the applied equipment can be obtained after the two items of audit are met.

3. Pre shipment test:

According to the results of Factory review, the laboratory decides whether the test is necessary or not, and determines the contents of sampling test. The laboratory takes samples at the place of shipment and retests the samples to ensure the consistency of the samples and the original samples. The test includes appearance, function and safety. According to the pre shipment test laboratory shall submit a verification report to NTRA.
