Chile's superintendencia de electricidady combustibles (SEC) is the national body that formulates regulations on electrical products in Chile. Chile's state agency, sec (superindependence of electricity and combustible fuels), has adopted safety and energy efficiency regulations, and has adopted recognized laboratories and certification agencies to control the electrical, gasoline and fuel products entering the Chilean market. Before the products are sold to the Chilean market, they must pass one of the certification modes (there are many certification modes, and the first, second and sixth certification modes will be introduced below) to obtain the recognition certificate, SEC QR code (as follows) and energy efficiency certificate.

Chile implements compulsory certification for some home appliances. The scope of products covered by order No. 399 is detailed in the "list of compulsory certification electrical products" published on the website of the electrical and flammable substances Supervision Commission. About 100 kinds of products are included in the list of compulsory certification electrical products. About 30 of them should be tested using Chilean standards. Other products are tested and certified according to IEC standard. In principle, SEC directly adopts IEC standards or Chilean standards equivalent to IEC. Chilean NCH standards for electrical products are based on IEC standards; Certification systems for electronic products, such as consumer electronics, telecommunications equipment and information technology equipment, are still being developed.

Chile's SEC has six schemes, and the following three are suitable for China:
Certification mode 1: including formal test + evaluation of each subsequent batch
Mode 1 process: 1 provide at least 3 samples for testing and obtain the approval certificate and SEC QR code. After obtaining the approval certificate, the SEC QR code must be pasted on the product.
2. After the certificate of approval is issued, the client / applicant must inform us of each batch of goods exported to Chile
We will take a certain number of samples according to the quantity of the goods after each batch of goods arrive at the port and do the necessary tests. Only products that pass the test can be put on the market

Certification mode 2: including form test + factory inspection + semi annual product evaluation test + semi annual market spot check
Mode 2 process:
1. Provide at least 3 samples for testing and obtain the approval certificate and SEC QR code. After obtaining the approval certificate, the SEC QR code must be pasted on the product.
2. After the certificate is issued, it will be sampled and tested from the market every half a year (from Chile's laboratory institutions) and from the factory once every six months.
three   Conduct annual factory inspection once a year (certificate is valid for a long time, as long as factory inspection and sampling are accepted)

Certification mode 6: recognition of foreign certification + supervision and testing of each batch of goods
Mode 6 process:
1. The importer must first submit the certification certificate (such as GS VDE TUV mark) obtained by Chile sec   UL and so on)!
It must be noted that the foreign certification that can be recognized must be issued by a foreign certification authority recognized by IAF members or contracting countries, and the certificate can be found on the website of the issuing authority.
The importers will inform us of the arrival of the imported goods, we will arrange sampling and simplified testing and obtain the certificate of approval.
